Tony Kulp, FRICS

Tony comes from a seasoned retail agency and development surveying background, having started his career with the  renowned expert Edward Erdman, in the days when it was obligatory for all juniors to wear a bowler hat, white shirt and polished black shoes!  At Edward Erdman, Tony became the youngest Head of Provincial Shops and a Partner in the firm, acting for many household names such as Oliver Shoes Plc, Currys, C & J Clark , W H Smith, BHS, Littlewoods Stores, H Samuel, Ratners,  British Shoe Corporation, Radio Rentals, Rumbelows and Dalgety Frozen Foods - some are still with us, and some have merged and trade under other names.

Tony’s first passion has always been retail development, commencing with his first development at Dudley Street, Wolverhampton, creating a new shop for C&J Clark at the entrance to the Mander Centre.  He pioneered Burton Property Trust’s move into shopping centre  development in Kidderminster.  Many schemes followed in Nottingham, Northampton, Birmingham, Derby, Cardiff , Leamington Spa , Mansfield, Bridgend, Swansea and Cork.   Tony subsequently played a role in forming Hardanger Properties Plc, where he was responsible for retail development, and joined agents Fletcher King Plc  in 1990 as retail director, before Joining the Arrowcroft Group in 1993, and transferring with the team to Vixcroft in 2014.

When Tony is not working, his love of the Surrey North Downs countryside around Oxted is a powerful draw, where he lives with his wife, Pam and with their three daughters all close at hand.  His daughters are a  florist , dentist, and a vet;  all come in useful, especially the vet, who is handy when looking after the family pet, George, a  Shire horse, a whopper standing at 18 hands despite being a youngster of only 5 years.....it must be the Surrey grass!
